Working Groups:
Convergence – Henry needs people to join! Are you going to the ALEC convergence in Salt Lake City? Contact Henry.
LANL – excellent mtg. on Saturday in Los Alamos. Five came up from ABQ, 4 from Sfe and 2 from Los Alamos. We toured the area – sussed out the lab and possible campsites. And came back to Ilse’s (can that woman lay out a feast!) to discuss logistics of the action and possible encampment and begin work on the visuals for a flyer. Next mtg. is with the NukeFreeNow coalition, Santa Fe 5:30 Tuesday, June 5.

Occupy Caravan – very exciting! The caravan leaves Los Angeles June 11th and stops in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Flagstaff before arriving in Albuquerque June 14th. Our Caravan working group is developing a People’s Pots and Pans Potluck Parade in Tiguex Park (near Old Town) to take place from 5-8 p.m. We’ve already got folks signed up to make posole, tamales, green chile stew, and Indian tacos!
